President of Air Quality and Exposure Science Division: Mark Gibson​
Dr. Gibson has 30-years of experience conducting research and consultancy in a variety of sectors. His expertise includes that of ambient and indoor air quality, population and occupational exposure, industrial emissions monitoring, characterization and modeling, and the source apportionment of criteria and non-criteria air pollutants.  Mark is currently a project scientist on the prestigious NASA, North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study (NAAMES). He is also a network organizer of the Surface Particulate Monitoring Network (SPARTAN). Publications by Dr. Gibson can be found here

Respiratory​ Protection Program

AirPhoton’s Division of Air Quality and Exposure Science offers a client focused, responsive and flexible Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) that meets the compliance requirements of OSHA standard 1910.134. 
This service includes:
 • Preparation of company Respiratory Protection Programs
 • Conduct worker respiratory fit-test medical evaluations
 • Conduct Quantitative or Qualitative Respirator Fit-Tests of N/R/P-series half-face, half-face single and dual      cartridge and full-face respirators
 • Worker training in the correct use, cleaning and storage of their respirator
 • Worker certification upon passing the medical evaluation and respirator fit-test
 • Online medical evaluations assessed by a registered health care professional
 • On-site or off-site fit-testing

Dr. Mark Gibson, the President of our Air Quality and Exposure Science division, is an expert in conducting medical respirator fit testing. ​

In the video to the left Dr. Gibson explains the proper procedures and best practices to use with the N95 and the half-face respirators. If not properly fitted these devices may be of no use in protecting the wearer from exposure.
