 Covid Monitoring Instruments

AirPhoton offers several products and services to monitor workplace locations for the presence of the COVID virus in the air.
Early detection can be used to initiate close monitoring of exposed individuals and/or contact tracing.  The instruments shown below can be purchased or if you are in the Maryland/Virginia area can be used as part of our COVID services.
Please download our flyer which describes these products as well as a personal exposure / area sampler we offer for sale.

AirPhoton BioSampler

Vertical Divider
The BioSampler samples workplace air collecting particles which may contain Covid.  Particles are deposited in a proprietary liquid in a vial.  The sample must be submitted to a lab for PCR analysis. Lab results are generally available within 24-48 hours. The instrument is easy to deploy and operate.

The BioSampler is manually operated so it can sample for long or short periods of time. It is most easily set up on a tripod but can also be mounted on a pole or wall bracket.

The AeroExplorer is an automated system that collects air borne samples on teflon or gelatin filters.

It offers multiple sampling capabilities for up to 8 time periods and/or day.

Sampling collection times/days on each filter is set by the user.  This makes the system ideal for monitoring  in hospitals, factories or other locations with multi shifts of employees.

Samples can be submitted to a lab for PCR analysis with results generally available within 24-48 hours.

The filters are held in place within a cartridge.  When all the filters have been used for sampling the entire cartridge is sent for analysis.  The cartridge prevents contamination of the samples and simplifies removal and replacement.

This is an example of a sampling protocol     that could be used with shift employees to  determine when covid was first introduced into the work environment.

Sampling protocols are completely flexible and could set up for daily separation.  Sampling can be paused and resumed at specific times of day and/or days of the week.
